Pipe Fitter | Pipe Welder

Pipe Fitters & Pipe Welders needed immediately – Atlanta, GA.

Industrial Project – Needed immediately – Anticipated Duration 1-2 months. 

Qualifications: Current (TIG) Welder Certs is a plus

PIPE FITTERS 

Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems for heating and cooling, high-pressure transport, oil and chemicals, natural gas, and more. They read design specifications to cut and weld pipes, perform routine inspections, and lay pipework.

PIPE WLDERS 

• Minimum 3 - 5 years TIG welding up to 12” stainless steel piping in industrial construction setting.
• Current TIG pipe certification is a plus
• Able to qualify TIG 304L Stainless
• Able to pass criminal background check
• Able to pass drug screen.
• Good safety record
• Can provide recent work references 

Responsibilities Include:

• Pipe Fitters must have 3-5 years industrial process piping experience
• Cutting, threading, or hammering pipes using various power and hand tools
• Measuring and marking pipes for cutting or threading
• Cutting or boring holes in structures
• Drawing layouts to scale while studying blueprints and following relevant codes
• Troubleshooting problems
• Inspecting, examining, or testing installed systems or pipelines

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in the commercial construction industry preferred
• A deep understanding of state and local building codes
• Tools of the trade and the ability to bring them to job sites
• Strong work ethic with a positive and calm mindset
• References to verify your professional skills and experience
• Able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time and to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
